Text Messaging Program: Terms & Disclosures

By exchanging text messages with ProsperiFi LLC (“ProsperiFi,” “we,” “us”), you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Disclosures. Please read them carefully.
1. About Our Text Messaging Program
ProsperiFi uses a firm-managed business text messaging platform to communicate with clients and prospective clients. Messages you may receive include service updates, notifications that requested work has been completed, appointment scheduling and reminders, document requests and receipt confirmations, and general client service communications.
You may also send text messages to us. Inbound messages are delivered to a shared, supervised team inbox — not to any individual’s personal mobile phone — so your requests are seen and handled promptly by our team, even when a specific team member is unavailable.
2. Who We Are
ProsperiFi LLC is a fee-only Registered Investment Adviser (CRD #292771), headquartered in Des Plaines, Illinois. Registration does not imply a certain level of skill or training. Additional information about ProsperiFi is available on the SEC’s website at adviserinfo.sec.gov.
3. Consent to Receive Text Messages
By providing your mobile number to ProsperiFi and agreeing to receive text messages — whether through a form on our website, in writing, verbally, or by initiating a text message to our business number — you consent to receive text messages from ProsperiFi at the number you provided, including messages sent using automated technology.
- Consent is not a condition of engaging or continuing any advisory services.
- Message frequency varies based on your activity and service needs.
- Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details.
4. Opting Out and Getting Help
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You may also opt out by replying QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT OUT. After opting out, you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Reply START at any time to re-enroll.

Opting out of text messages does not affect your advisory relationship with ProsperiFi or your receipt of communications through other channels.
5. Instructions We Will Not Accept by Text
Text messaging is a convenience channel for service and scheduling. It is not a channel for transactions or account instructions. ProsperiFi will not accept or act upon any of the following received by text message:
- Trade or investment instructions of any kind
- Requests to move money, including wires, ACH transfers, journals, check requests, or distributions
- Changes to banking instructions, address, beneficiaries, or account authority
- Any other time-sensitive instruction
If you send such a request by text, we will contact you through a verified channel before taking any action. For these matters, please call us at 847-310-7133.
Text messages are not an official confirmation or valuation of any transaction, order, or account. They do not represent an official record of the holdings, balances, or transactions in your accounts. Please refer to your custodial account statements for the official record of account activity.
6. Not Investment, Tax, or Legal Advice
General information exchanged by text message does not constitute a recommendation, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, or personalized investment advice, unless expressly identified as such and delivered through our documented advisory process. ProsperiFi does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice by text message. You should consult your own tax and legal advisors before engaging in any transaction.
7. Monitoring, Retention, and Recordkeeping
All text messages sent to or from ProsperiFi’s business numbers are transmitted through a firm-managed platform and are electronically captured, monitored, reviewed, and retained in accordance with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and applicable SEC recordkeeping rules. These messages are firm records. They may be reviewed by authorized ProsperiFi personnel and may be produced to regulators or as otherwise required by law. You should have no expectation of privacy in text messages exchanged with ProsperiFi’s business numbers.
8. Use Approved Channels Only
Please text ProsperiFi only at our published business number(s). ProsperiFi team members are not permitted to conduct firm business by text on personal mobile numbers or through unapproved messaging applications (for example, personal iMessage, WhatsApp, or social media direct messages). If you text a team member’s personal number, you may be asked to resend your message to our official channel so it can be properly received, handled, and retained.
9. Security
Standard SMS text messaging is not encrypted and is not a secure method of communication. Messages could be intercepted, delayed, lost, or altered in transmission.
Do not send confidential or sensitive personal information by text, including Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, or verification codes. ProsperiFi will never ask you to provide passwords, one-time security codes, or full account numbers by text message. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from ProsperiFi, do not respond — call us directly at 847-310-7133 to verify.
To submit sensitive information or documents, please contact us to establish a password protected secure upload vault, postal mail, or deliver them in person.
10. Delivery Is Not Guaranteed
Text message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and network availability. ProsperiFi is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on text messaging for urgent or time-sensitive matters — please call us instead. Text messaging is not a substitute for direct communication in an emergency.
11. Privacy
Information you submit or exchange by text message is subject to our Privacy Policy, available at https://prosperifi.com/privacy/.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding vendors and service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messaging service.
12. Eligibility and Your Responsibilities
By participating in this program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you provided. Please notify us promptly if you change or deactivate your mobile number so we can update our records.
13. Changes to These Terms
ProsperiFi may update these Terms & Disclosures from time to time. The current version will always be posted at prosperifi.com/texting. Your continued participation in the program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
